BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Navigating Singapore's rush hour is no easy feat especially under strict conditions. Yeap felt pressure from international students to find the shortest ride distance while having later pick up times, which often conflicted with peak traffic time.
GOALS
They required a vehicle routing solution to determine fleet size while adapting to their different customer constraints.
To justify alternative pick up times to parents, the solution needed a visual component with a clear and easy to use interface.
RESULTS
Seamlessly import orders via a spreadsheet or with a direct ERP integration.
Ability to move students from one bus to another.
Offer to work backwards and set end times for drivers to calculate the ETA at each stop.
Manually set bus stop locations and automatically associating them with students based on preferred radius conditions.
Matches buses with stops based on the size of roads and other conditions (some roads can only handle certain vehicle sizes).
