ABOUT LUWJISTIK

Luwjistik is a SaaS platform that allows you to connect to multiple logistics providers such as freight forwarders, couriers and 3PLs through a single API.

For example, if you're a mid-sized fashion brand based in Singapore selling through Shopify and social platforms, expanding into cities like Ho Chi Minh City or Jakarta would typically require you to manage different shipping partners for each country (e.g. Ninja Van in Singapore, J&T in Malaysia, JNE in Indonesia). That means dealing with separate contracts, APIs, and integration efforts for every provider.

Luwjistik eliminates that complexity by connecting you to all of them through their platform.

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Ali Madihid, Luwjistik’s CEO, wanted his product to solve a major pain point for shippers: the lack of consistency and visibility across logistics providers. When each carrier has its own tracking format, it creates a fragmented experience for both merchants and customers. To solve this problem, Ali engaged Afi Labs to build a unified dashboard that lets shippers monitor shipments in real time and understand the true cost of delivery (including import duties, taxes, and surcharges).

SOLUTION

A key feature of the dashboard is the admin panel, which provides a bird’s-eye view of all shipments in transit. Shippers can easily search and filter orders by status, pickup or delivery date, or customer name - enabling their operations teams to quickly update customers on delivery progress and expected arrival times. The panel also offers valuable insights, including KPIs, delivery time comparisons, failure rates, and cost breakdowns across all carriers.

Where does the data from the admin panel come from? Every time a package is picked up by a driver from one of Luwjistik’s local delivery partners, the driver scans the shipping label to confirm pickup. The package is scanned again at key points - such as when it arrives at a warehouse hub, is transferred to a plane or ship, or is delivered to the final customer.

This barcode scanning process captures both the location and timestamp at each step of the journey. It also ensures accuracy by preventing drivers from picking up packages that aren’t registered in the Luwjistik system and eliminates errors caused by manual data entry.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR LUWJISTIK

Luwjistik’s rapid growth and strong potential in Southeast Asia’s booming eCommerce market quickly drew attention. Just a year after raising its seed round, the company was acquired by Australian logistics technology platform Shippit for USD $12.5 million.

With a network of over 100 partners across 18 countries, and a strong presence in key Southeast Asian markets like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand - Luwjistik gave Shippit instant access to a well-established carrier ecosystem and valuable local expertise. This enabled Shippit to accelerate its regional expansion and offer multi-partner shipping to its customers.

“This is a significant moment for Luwjistik. Being recognized so early validates our vision to transform logistics in Southeast Asia. Together with Shippit, we can now bring that vision to life,” said Ali.
